Sign Up Now: Seminar on Covid-19 and the future of devolution in England

10 December 2020 | 16:00–17:00

The row between central government and the leaders of Greater Manchester highlighted the centralising response to Covid-19 by the British government and the nature of the asymmetric model of devolution in the UK.

In this briefing, our experts will join chair Nick Pearce (Director of The Institute for Policy Research, University of Bath) to explore governance and devolution in England; attitudes towards English governance, and what the future holds for English devolution. We will hear from:

  • Michael Kenny (University of Cambridge)
  • Ailsa Henderson (University of Edinburgh)
  • Patrick Diamond (Queen Mary University of London)

Questions for the panelists are welcome in advance and during the event. You are welcome to submit questions for our panel in advance by email or by including this in the order form on Eventbrite.

This event will take place on Collaborate. A link to join will be sent to attendees prior to the event.

Please note that this event will be recorded and the footage made available via YouTube following the briefing.
